It’s easy to over-do a dark and light colour scheme and end up with an over-dramatic space.
This contrasting grey and white hallway achieves a more subtle look by reserving the dark grey for just the handrails and caps, to match the carpet. To achieve a refined look such as this, limit your dark colour as an accent colour on trims, doors, frames or key pieces of furniture.
The ceiling was painted in Tikkirula Anti Reflex White 2, a white, anti-reflexive, latex paint for ceilings and walls which removes any imperfections and leaves a smooth surface. Walls were painted inCaparol Premium Clean an easy clean paint which is recommended to customers with young children and pets!
Woodwork was primed with Caparol Haftprimer and the Caparol Capacryl PU Satin top coat applied in dark grey.
